Ortigia, one of the first Greek ports outside the Hellenic world, inspired Marta’s early works dedicated to light. A tribute to the white stones, warmed by Sicily’s almost African sun, lining the shores of the Ionian Sea.
Each piece is unique, meticulously handcrafted to order. The enamel is etched into the stoneware, where porcelain delicately embeds itself, tracing a delicate, jewel-like relief on the wall.
The artist’s hand is always visible, giving each lamp a unique character. The soft, indirect light emerges from the material, warming the earth, while the porcelain reflects changing hues. The ochre enamel shines with simplicity, evoking the pure elegance of a Greek theorem.
Bulb specification : 2x LED E14 dimmable (not included).
Adjustable upwards or downwards.
Each light is carefully crafted by Marta in her studio in Lisbon.
